An iPhone app that uses the camera + OCR to read aloud any text you point the camera at.

The company behind this is also doing some very interesting looking work in the area of assisting people with visual impairments.

I saw these at ISH in FRankfurt this week. They are from a company called Erlau, retail at €60.00 and fold down to allow for space for other users. They take up to 150Kg.

This Neff slide away door oven is brilliant, it allows any user to get close to the oven to take things in and out, can come with telescopic shelves and is stunning looking.

I hate these rails as they are neither functional or beautiful. In the sun they are too hot to hold, in the icy weather your hands stick to them and in the wet they are too slippery and honestly would you want this outside your home?
