I totally love my new Gripi scissors. Up until now I’ve bought new scissors on a regular basis only to find that either I’m not strong enough to use them or they hurt my hands. Well, no more! The Gripi’s have soft handles that mould to the users hands, as well as being easy to use. […]

denisew wrote a new post, Soap 7 years, 7 months ago
I never use a cake of soap when showering as I continually drop it, but when I totally ran out of shower gel I had no alternative to soap.
The only thing I could think of was to make ‘soap on a rope’. I drilled through the middle of the soap and put a […]

This little book light is guaranteed to lift ones spirits! I love the bright colours although I don’t think it will last that long. I can’t resist getting one though!

This fan does it’s job well, but is really, really ugly. Way too much tacky looking grey plastic -my pet hate! Needless to say, I didn’t choose it!

I find my long shoehorn with a hook on the end very useful, particularly for getting boots on. The hook on the end also comes in handy!

I decided to order these after seeing them mentioned in the ‘Ideas Factory’. I can now get my trainers on and off easily, and importantly for me, without help:) A great Idea!

No more struggling to chop onions, make salsa, etc, etc! This mini chopper is very compact and easy to use, even with reduced hand dexterity. It’s quite squat so isn’t easily knocked over. I wish I’d bought it years ago!

I’d recommend Dragon Naturally Speaking voice recognition for anyone like me, with limited finger mobility. I’ve been using it for over a year now and have had no problems at all. It’s very user friendly and so easy to use.

denisew wrote a new post, Very thin (3mm ribbon) 8 years, 3 months ago
I make a discreet loop of ribbon through all my zips – jeans, duvet cover zips, etc etc. This really makes life easier for me as my finger dexterity isn’t great. Ribbon costs pence from a Haberdashers and comes in many different colours. I’m not sure if this qualifies, as ribbon is in no way […]

denisew wrote a new post, PenAgain ergonomic Pen – I love it! 9 years ago
For the first time in a long time I have managed to write down a telephone number. This is about as much as I can reasonably hope for. The pen is easy to grip, and for someone with reasonable dexterity, it would be excellent.
