Tassimo Coffee Maker

by smiler, January 12, 2010 10:00 AM

Makes 1 cup of delicious coffee or tea at a time. Inserting the t-discs is very straightforward - even with limited strength or dexterity. No lifting heavy kettles full of boiling water - and as it boils water for one cup i'm saving the polar bears from extinction as well.

What about the coffee? I love a good strong Cafe Neros style coffee in the morning :)

I bought this for my daughter. She is VI and the big black button was visible for her so good start. There is a huge variety of coffees available - personal favourite is the Starbucks. Hot chocolate could do with some improving, there is also a range of teas.Supermarkets have a limited stock of disc varieties - the real treasure is on the website. We have the old model, the new one looks good and does not appear to have done anything silly to the original design.

Big love for this machine. It gets used most days in our household and the coffee? Fine for my tastes but there's loads of t-discs (coffee, tea and hot chocolate) to choose from. And if you want hot water, press the button and out it comes. A doddle. Saving the polar bear comes as a bonus.

Big love for this machine. It gets used most days in our house. There's loads of choices of t-discs (all manner of coffee, tea and hot chocolate) and is easy to use - dexterity in my left hand is not what it once was but putting a t-disc in and filling with water is a doddle. Hot water is easy to get as well. As smiler says, you save polar bears in the process. Win/win!

There a variety of coffees - i like the cafe creme - for those who like their rocket fuel in the morning there is an expresso which can be topped up with hot water from the machine. not quite coffee shop standard, but good quality filter coffee. the t discs - which come in packs of 16 are about £3 each.
