I make a discreet loop of ribbon through all my zips – jeans, duvet cover zips, etc etc. This really makes life easier for me as my finger dexterity isn’t great. Ribbon costs pence from a Haberdashers and comes in many different colours. I’m not sure if this qualifies, as ribbon is in no way a gadget or gizmo!

This is a great idea – I have been using this for my daughter. We have also employed carabiners of various sizes and colours, key chains and bag/mobile charms.
