I saw this gadget in a kitchenware shop in Canada recently. Although I didn’t get to try it out on any veggies, it looked like a potentially useful tool for anyone who has difficulty gripping a handle. The peeler slots over your finger like a ring and then sits in the palm of your hand.

Hey Sally! I was just flicking through a catalogue for Robert Dyas when I came across what I think is the UK equivalent of the Palmpeeler. It’s called the Easy Peel and costs a mere 99p. Bargain! : )
