I have numb fingers, so I find trying to change channels with this remote control extremely difficult. The buttons are virtually flat, so it’s practically impossible to tell which button you are pressing without looking. I get really frustrated because I often end up pressing the wrong button as a result.
My TV remote control…

Hi Denise,
i’m a student from Denmark, currently working on a project which aims on developing a new kind of remote control which addresses exactly the issues you share in your post. There are a lot of (“normal”) people out in the world with exactly the same problems.
I had hoped I maybe could get some more input from you and other? You might have some ideas in mind that I could elaborate further on.
From a prior project I have a ugly and very simple prototype of a new kind of remote control that operates with a joystick. This just screams “aid” and i hope i can develop something that would be desirable for all kinds of people.
I hope you have some thought you want to share with me.
Kind regards,
Finn Hahn
